This title is mainly highlighted the effects of liquid environment on nucleation, growth and aggregation of copper nanoparticles. Colloidal copper nanoparticles are prepared by pulsed Nd:YAG laser ablation in deionised water with various concentrations of ethanol, in pure ethanol and also in pure acetone. Deionised water with various concentrations of ethanol are 20, 40, 60 and 80 vol%. UV/visible extinction and TEM observations are employed for characterization of optical properties and particle sizes respectively. That study will provide a technique to control size, cross-linking and aggregation of copper nanoparticles via changing the nature of liquid carrier medium.
